I had the pleasure of giving a talk at the Scalar Conference 2026 in Warsaw. The talk was titled “The Concurrency Triangle: Scala Fibers, Java Virtual Threads, and Kotlin Coroutines”. I discussed about how continuations and coroutines are implemented in Scala, Java, and Kotlin. I also compared the different approaches taken by each language and highlighted their strengths and weaknesses. The talk was well-received, and I had a great time interacting with the audience and answering their questions.
